I know it’s scary! But once they’re strong enough to roll over on their own, then they’re safe and able to adjust their head as needed on their belly

You’re going to have to ditch the swaddle whether it’s a transitional swaddle or not. It still constricts her chest!

Our doctor said as long as she does it on her own it’s totally fine. It is scary at first for the parents!

Increase the amount of tummy time during the day so she can practice rolling front to back.

It was a little scarier for us with any type of swaddle. We changed to a plain sleep sack and I feel much better about it

no more swaddling or transitional swaddle. it’s time for a sleep sack. also, if they get themselves into that position, it’s okay to stay :)

They have support pillows that you can put behind Her back to keep her on her side where she doesn't suffocate herself. had to do this for son

My son always slept on his stomach which I know is super scary, but his pediatrician said as long as there’s nothing else in his crib (bumpers, etc)

I’d switch to sleep sacks and once they do it themselves it’s relatively safe for them to sleep however they want
