Although I’m no Chelonia expert, I’d say this big boy has to be at least 20-30+ years old, which would be a decently impressive age for a wild turtle to reach. Wild common snapping turtles typically max out at around 30-45 years old, with factors like disease, automobile collisions, and predation in their early years playing a main factor in this limited lifespan.
