My local WF has flap mislabeled (at 2x the price) as skirt steak every few weeks. I’ve had multiple arguments w/them that it’s not the same.

Mexican butcher shops are the best! Pretty sure this is also called Carne Ranchera. My mom calls it "carne de los niños ricos" its usually $15-$20/lbs

idk I feel like flap meat is more tender than flank & skirt. I just depends on the grade. meat shop near me sells prime grade flap. it's phenomenal.
