Yes yes and YES!!! I'm dressage rider, so we teach first this as soon as we start ground work, and then when it's 💯 on saddle we can start teaching

I trained my 3 year old filly with voice commands and it's amazing. Helps make them super light and responsive to the aids too!

This! And then later translate them into half-halts. And when you both start getting them/using them automatically, riding is like a dream 😍

My ottb (well he’s almost 18 so can barely call him that lol) gets so stressed with too much leg pressure so voice aids have been a lifesaver!

did the same with my ottb when I first got him and now he can be ridden off of voice and seat, best thing to do for a horse!
