I recently took my dog to an emergency vet hospital and he was diagnosed with severe dehydration and high sodium. They’ve since been able to bring it back to normal after days of IV fluids. He’s not back home and still doesn’t want to drink water on his own. The doctor says to hold off on mixing water into his food to see if he’ll eventually drink on his own. What have yall vets told yall about long term care?

Thank you so much for posting! My dog has an injured leg and is on medication. I finally got him to start eating but he would not drink water. This worked immediately! 🥰
