4 items you need to do your TRT injections… -> Prescribed Testosterone Cypionate -> Drawing Needle -> Insulin Needle -> Alcohol Swab The obvious is the medication testosterone, at Helix HRT we provide our patients who are on TRT protocols with Testosterone Cypionate. The drawing needle is used with a bigger syringe typically with a 23g needle to pull out the medication from the vial as we then recommend using an insulin needle to administer the medication. We transfer the medication from the bigger needle called ‘backloading’ to the smaller insulin needle to avoid dulling the needle that would go into your body and the insulin needle just isn’t big enough to pull out the testosterone so this is the easiest and main way we suggest to get your prescription into the needle to prepare for injection. Make sure to swab and disinfect the intended injection site and once you are ready to inject after all the prep work is complete go ahead and rub the area to get the oil moving in case of any soreness that may incur.
