I do have a mix pug/beagle but he is sickly right now we are giving him 2 meds 2times daily for GI issues that they are prone to so be aware

Purebred dogs will always be genetically compromised and susceptible to illness in a much higher percentage. This twisted practice should stop.

As someone with a “modern pug” the genetic breeding changed they did caused the problems and it’s sad for the animal.

If an animal needs human care to live or to reproduce like the case of so many flat/short faced dogs, i dont think they should be eligible as a breed
