@scottcaneat: What to eat in Marseille: Navettes from Les navettes des accoules Navettes are French cookies from Marseilles that are shaped like a boat (I think they look like baguettes) . Tradition says the shape commemorates Mary Magdalene and Saint Martha and their voyage to Marseilles by boat. The biscuits are flavored with orange-flower water, they are not super swee, have a great snap and delicate crumb. Traditionally they consumed on February 2nd, known as Candlemas Day, although they can be bought all year round at Les navettes des accoules. They also sell delicious little biscuits called Canistrelli (made with butter) & Cucciole (made with olive oil) that are lemon, orange, chocolate chip and anise flavoured. They were so delicious. #marseillefood #foodinmarseille #marseillefoodie #marseillefrance #biscuits #cookiesoftiktok #choosemarseille #navette
