@modhippiehabits: Aloe Gel! 🌵 To Prep: Use a sharp knife to remove the spines on each side of a fresh aloe leaf and then remove one side of the skin. This is a slippery process so I recommend using a spoon to scrape all of the aloe pulp into a bowl and blend. I prefer using a stick blender, but a hand mixer or a food processor work too. The blending process with create lots of foam, so let the gel sit so the bubbles dissipate. I leave mine in the fridge overnight. To use either transfer to an airtight jar and use within a week or freeze in ice cube molds. Tip: if you want to keep you hands clean for skincare, freeze with a popsicle stick stuck in each cube so you can use it with a handle!
