Call center trainer here. This is hysterically accurate. 😂 What I teach my team is to let the consumer vent and then re-approach the conversation.

I don't even try. Mute button + inhaling chips while they go on. When they say "ARE YOU STILL THERE" I say "Yes, it'd be rude for me to interrupt you.
