@iknowforrest: I’ve seen a lot of people cry in the gym over the years and honestly it’s about even with men and women. Your brain and your body are connected both physically and emotionally and sometimes exercise can bring out certain emotions. It’s absolutely ok. You don’t have to make a big deal about it, but you also don’t have be ashamed if you shed a tear during a workout. I had an online client of mine recently ask if it was normal that she cries during some of her workouts and she sounded embarrassed about it. The motivation for this post is so you don’t have to feel bad about letting some emotions out during exercise. I’ve seen groups of complete strangers rally around someone going through some stuff mid workout and it’s amazing.
