@@lifewithleauxla on Insta There are a ton of restaurants on the RAMW site, so there are many options for everyone. There are also places on the site I’ve been to that I didn’t include on my list only because I wanted to mention ones that would be could to take advantage of Restaurant Week. Also, there were many restaurants I didn’t see on the list that I expected to see, so hopefully they are still in the process of signing up. Here are my thoughts on the restaurants on my list I didn’t discuss in my voiceover. -Balos: I’ve been here a couples times. Miami vibe. It’s good food, I especially like their crabcakes and Greek fries. Good place to celebrate a special occasion. -Brasserie Liberté: Went here for brunch and everything was delicious! French restaurant. The only con was our steak was overcooked but it still had good flavor. - Cranes: Haven’t been yet (feel like everyone has been except for me). Modern Spanish restaurant with Japanese fare. Has over 1,000 reviews on Google and a 4.6 star rating, which is very telling. -El Bebe: More of a casual spot but the food is so good! I went to the Navy Yard location twice. Great drinks and food. Everything was flavorful (down to the rice). -El Presidente: I’ve heard a lot of good things about this place, especially their whole branzino. Would be good for a date night. -Floriana: Went to this Italian restaurant for Restaurant Week once. Food was very filling and delicious. NY strip with chili rub was perfection. Small restaurant but would be perfect for an intimate date night. -Hen Quarter (VA): Tried their brunch and thought it was delicious. Located in Old Town. They now have Hen Quarter Prime in DC that is also participating in Restaurant Week. -Ilili: Heard great things about this Mediterranean restaurant. Beautiful decor and seems like it would be a good place to celebrate a special occasion. -J. Hollinger’s: Been here many times. They have one of the best happy hours in the DMV. Good service and good food. Still have not tried their brunch. Located in Downtown Silver Spring. Have their own parking lot. Paraíso: Elevated Mexican dining. The decor, dining, and attention to detail are all good. They put a creative spin on traditional Mexican dishes. I would say, dLeña is overall better though. -Pennyroyal Station: Won the 2023 RAMMY for the best casual restaurant in the DC area. Heard great things about their brunch. Located in Mt. Rainer, MD. They have almost 600 reviews on Google and a 4.7 star rating. -Pisco y Nazca: They put a modern twist on Peruvian food. Also has high ratings on Google and Yelp. Good food and drinks. Good for a casual date night. -The Bazaar by José Andrés: Heard a lot of good things about this spot and José Andrés has several restaurants in the area that people rave about. The restaurant looks beautiful and looks like it would be perfect for a special occasion. -Via: Went here for VDay last year. Still thinking about their short rib tortellini and truffle risotto! @Visit Washington, DC #DCRestaurantWeek #DCFood #DCFoodie #DMVRestaurants #ThingsToDoInDC #DCContentCreator #myDCcool #greenscreen
