@eyanreeve: Yes… you have to invest the money within a Roth IRA🤨 I realize that your average person may not know this but there is no excuse for “financial gurus” to be surprised by this.❌ A Roth IRA is an investment vehicle. Just like a car 🚗 , it won’t drive itself. Well I guess cars can drive themselves now, but anyways. You must “drive” the investment vehicle. Meaning, you must choose the investments. Typically, something known as the “Money Market” is the default fund that your money gets put in. Essentially this is cash.💵 It’ll earn a small interest rate but not much. If you never choose your investments your money will never begin working for you. Don’t make that mistake! Make sure your money is invested!
