BLACK & BLUE BURGER SALAD 🍔🥗 All you need is 👇🏻 1 head iceberg lettuce, chopped 1 lb lean ground beef burger seasoning, to taste Yellow mustard, to taste 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1.5 cup cherry or Roma tomatoes, chopped 1/2 red onion, finely diced 4oz blue cheese or Gorgonzola chunks 8 slices center-cut bacon Balsamic vinaigrette or balsamic glaze Salt and pepper to taste Place the bacon slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Put the baking sheet in the oven and set the temperature to 375°F, Allow the bacon to cook as the oven preheats and bake for about 25 minutes total, or until the bacon is crispy. Remove the bacon from the oven and let it cool on a paper towel-lined plate. Once cooled, chop the bacon into fine bits. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef in large chunks to the hot skillet and sear on each side until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side. Then add the burger seasoning, yellow mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Use a spatula to chop the beef into fine pieces as it cooks. Once fully cooked, remove from heat and let it cool slightly. In a large salad bowl or on individual plates, arrange the chopped iceberg lettuce as the base. Top with the cooked ground beef, chopped tomatoes, and sliced red onions. Sprinkle the blue cheese or Gorgonzola chunks over the salad. Add the chopped bacon bits on top. Drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette or balsamic glaze. Season generously with salt and pepper to taste.
