As a daycare teacher this happens sooo often usually it’s because they see their friends going on the potty so they feel influenced☺️

It’s quite common. I used to work at a daycare and I had kids that could read, write and completely potty train and their parents had no idea.

My kids were potty trained AT DAYCARE at 15 mo's The daycare lady said give me one week and they'll be trained. Sure enough they were trained!
