@thechaosdiaries: Replying to @Free Palestine 🇵🇸 If you’re wanting to plan a trip to Madeira you might be wondering how expensive it is, so in this post I’ll run through everything we spent during our week long trip to Madeira for 2 people First up is our Airbnb, we actually got an absolute bargain because we stayed in the middle of nowhere for only around £40 per night. We got an entire house to ourselves with amazing views over the surrounding valley Obviously the biggest expense on ANY trip is the food and we did a mixture of eating out, cooking at home and taking picnics with us. It’s worth mentioning here that we dont really drink and in total we spent £380 Next was our rental car which is absolutely crucial if you’re in Madeira especially if you’re not based in Funchal and the price including all our fuel was £340 Finally we did a few paid activities which were mostly in Funchal such as the cable car, Monte Palace gardens and toboggan. We also went canyoning which was super fun and cost £60 per person and paid entry to the Porto Moniz natural pools which wasnt very much at £5 but you know every little helps.
