This DIY Egg Flower Candle Holder is a super simple and beautiful Easter DIY that you can use as spring decor year after year. But to be honest, I ran into a few issues and had to adjust a little bit, but that’s one of the reasons I love sharing tutorials with you. I take the time to problem-solve and make adjustments so that hopefully when you make yours it goes smoothly and with ease! The first problem I ran into was when I filled these eggs with water, the water slowly dripped out of the tiny holes at the base of the eggs. So I plugged the holes with hot glue, which worked great. But then the eggs were too heavy with the water and the hot glue wasn’t strong enough to hold it. So I dumped out the water and started over a second time. And while e6000 glue is a great option to reinforce it, I decided not to refill it with water as I didn’t think it would be fun to continually put fresh water in it every couple of days or to clean each individual egg. So I opted to just put the little flower bouquets in the eggs without water. While my fresh flowers dried beautifully, I have a tip/hack you may like if you want to keep them fresh longer in my blog post tutorial (comment “link” for details). And I can’t wait to use this year after year in our home for spring and Easter decor!

GO to my Profile + tap 🔗 + type “DIY Easter Bouquet” into the search bar. I can’t believe Easter is so early this year! Last year we had our first 80-degree day in February and the spring blooms on our trees were already showering white petals onto the ground. I can only hope we have a warm spring this year too since Easter is in March. Last year, I harvested some beautiful white stems from one of our trees, but sadly they didn’t last long in our home. So I found these gorgeous artificial Cream Blossom Branches to replace them. And to make it a little extra Eastery I filled the jar with decorative speckled eggs. This set came with 4 pastel-colored eggs, but I opted to just use 3 out of the 4 colors to keep it simple. What are your favorite spring colors?
