may I suggest doing the turn into the dog, rather than pulling the dog to turn with you? quicker disconnect to the trigger, less pulling on the leash

I tried doing that w my 50kg cane corso x doberman and started rolling around in the sand. Lesson learnt to never go to a dog beach😭
