I had encountered that also. So it’s okay to cut the nail and then apply the Polygel over the flesh

@zegmaarjoe: I always have this because of acryl, Biab or poly.. if I cut the lifted part and don’t put anything back on top of the nails, it always recover perfect but when I put something like Biab or gel it always lift again.. so this video is not the way to recover but it looks very nice 😊

Why this happens? I had same experience, and have had every time I have gel polish on my nails. So I removed gel polish and I am not sure if I should ever use it again.
