I had terrible upper arm muscle pain with Atorvastatin... had it changed to Ezetimibe after I researched an acceptable alternative.😏

Iv stopped taking Lipitor for two weeks to change to a new statin and my calf muscles and ankle pain has gone I could hardly walk sometimes

I was told after an MRI that l had small ischemic lesions on my brain and the consultant wrote to my doctor to help with this. Atorvastatin or Stroke!

I was started on 40mg atorvastatin right away and I got horrendous pain from scalp to foot. switch to rosuvastatin and its amazing!

I had these problems with Simvastatin and switched to Atorvastatin and have had no problems since👍🏴

My husband is on these .. high cholesterol and type 2 diabetes.. but suffers terribly with leg pains .. can anyone tell me if he can just stop these ?

I tried many stations and I had to give them all up. I ended up in such awful pain all over my body. I had to give them up.

I take Atovastin but I have osteoarthritis in knees v bad also Temporal arthritis too...I never had any probs all the time I've been taking them

Yes I had they (very severe) symptoms with Simvastatin. The doctor changed my prescription to Atorvastatin and the pains went away.
