@drbeckycampbell: I was always sensitive to heat, even as a kid. I remember passing out multiple times, growing up in Florida, simply from being hot. When you have mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS) or histamine intolerance (HIT), heat can act as a trigger and set off symptoms. Exercise can also do the same thing. This is why many people with mast cell issues can become heat & exercise intolerant. The most important thing I’ve worked on to build back up my heat & exercise tolerance, is learned how to get my body out of sympathetic overdrive. Also working on some of the main drivers of MCAS/HIT is extremely important when trying to get past this. Things like: -environmental toxins -poor gut health -hormone imbalances -the wrong food at the wrong time (ie. high histamine foods when you can’t break histamine down well) -& more (I’ve discussed all the drivers in my books, posts on social & articles on website) Your body is really good at giving you signals when something isn’t right. Are you listening to it? #histamineintolerance #histamine #mcas #exercise #mold #hormonebalance
