My mom had this done in her early 40’s, fast forward, she’s 82 and needed a donor vein for heart bypass surgery, having her veins stripped=bad idea

I’ve had both legs done. Veins redirect and come back, just not as bad! I still wear compression socks *almost* daily to help them out!

1/2-Dang you’re lucky! Had mine done had to go home with bunches of gauze & ace bandage, was told to basically lay in bed with leg propped & ice on it
