There's a line in NF's song If You Want Love that carries a truth I don't think enough people are willing to confront. Sometimes the pain you have to go through to find love is the pain of becoming someone capable of keeping it. Read that again. We spend so much time praying for the right person, the right relationship, the right opportunity, and the right season. But how often do we stop and ask God whether we're actually prepared to receive what we're praying for? Because what if the blessing isn't being withheld? What if you're still being prepared to carry it? We want love without transformation. Trust without vulnerability. Commitment without sacrifice. A harvest without ever enduring the discipline of planting, pruning, and waiting. But transformation is painful. A caterpillar doesn't become a butterfly by simply wishing it had wings. Its entire existence has to undergo a metamorphosis. And maybe that's exactly what God is doing with you. Not punishing you. Preparing you. Because here's what we forget about the harvest: Producing fruit and knowing how to harvest it are two entirely different things. What good is a field overflowing with blessings if you've never developed the discipline, wisdom, patience, or character to steward what's been grown? You could receive everything you've ever prayed for and lose it simply because you refused to become the person capable of sustaining it. That's why trusting Jesus matters. Not because He promises that every season will produce exactly what you want, but because His love remains sufficient even when the harvest looks different from your expectations. Galatians 6:9 reminds us not to grow weary in doing good, because in due season we will reap if we do not give up. So keep showing up. Keep surrendering. Keep learning. Keep allowing God to expose what needs to change. Don't become so obsessed with receiving the harvest that you neglect becoming a faithful steward of it. Maybe the greatest blessing isn't what God is preparing for you. Maybe it's who He's preparing you to become. #FaithOverFear #SpiritualGrowth #RadicalMovement
