@naturallyadela: Here’s how I made the Focaccia: Mix in a bowl 1 cup warm water 1 tsp sugar 2 tsp yeast 1/2 cup flour Cover & let it rest for 10 mins, then mix in 1 tsp salt 1.5 cups flour You don’t have to knead, I just mixed with a large wooden spoon. Transfer to a well oiled large bowl (use extra virgin olive oil & don’t be shy with it), cover and let it rest for 5 hours. Well at least that’s how long I left it out, I started this at 1 a.m and had to wake up at 6 a.m & drive my son to school lol. Back to the recipe… so after 5 hours I did the stretching and folding of the dough you see at the beginning of this video. I did about 3 sets of the folding, 30-45 minutes apart. Then I just transferred it to a well oiled baking dish, I also used parchment paper because I didn’t trust myself. Did the dimple thing with my fingers. Drizzled more olive oil. I covered it with a towel and let it rest AGAIN for about 15 minutes. Preheat oven to 445F At this point you can use toppings of your choice. I used 1 onion, a ton of garlic, cherry tomatoes and some rosemary. (Note: they were all soaked in olive oil). Bake for about 25-35 minutes. Mine was 35 minutes and I placed it on the middle rack of the oven. I let it cool for about 10 minutes on one of those cookie cooling racks before basically inhaling it all. This was so yummy that I will make so many more of them but try different methods because I want more bubbles. It’s perfect on its own but it’s also great for sandwiches. #focaccia #focacciabread #focacciarecipe #bread #dough #cooking #fyp #bonappetite #fypシ
