My cat was doing that and I thought she had some grass stuck. She vomited only food nothing else. I took her to the vet and they said she had asthma

My cat does the same, but she is longhaired and grooms a lot. She has other problems and has medication for that, so I wouldn’t rule out a correlation

That’s a mild asthma attack! If he’s stretching his neck then it’s asthma not a hairball. My boy has asthma and hairballs so I’ve seen the difference

ok I have 3 cats 2 girls 1 boy the boy couple months ago started doing this. even worse than that. I took him to the vet cause we tight it was asthma.

My cat Eggnog does this and we were told it’s asthma. We no longer use candles or incense. Nothing with fragrance and it has helped her a lot.

Looks similar to what my cat was doing prior to her being diagnosed with asthma. Have an X-ray done of his lungs to rule out. 💛

My cat Roxy used to do the same exact same thing. The vet said it was hairballs as well and had me give her the Laxatone hairball relief. It worked.

This is totally asthma. Regi used to get it. For some it’s worse during certain seasons. I didn’t treat with a pump cause uh…yeaaaah. 😅
