@get.switched: ✨How to lube your stabilizers ! ✨(The simple and easy way) . I get this question a LOT so I thought it was finally time for a stabilizers prep tutorial. Before I start let me just say that this is the way I like to prep them but it might not suit you so feel free to try multiple techniques. After years of trying different ones this is how I prefer them: 1️⃣ Seperate the parts so you have them ready and get your tools out ! I use Krytox 205g0 as lube from keygem with a thin brush, claw and a mini working mat from American Haptics 2️⃣ I always start by lightly lubing the stem outside with the help of claws and then the upper inside part. 3️⃣ Then it is time to, once again, lightly lubed the inside of the housing. I usually use a small dot of lube for both sides. 4️⃣ Here is the tricky part : For the wire I personally like using a coat of Krytox 205g0 until you can very lightly see the wire material. BUT I know that a lot of people prefer to use dielectric grease ! You can try both and see which you prefer. Maybe I’ll retry dielectric grease soon to compare in the long run. 5️⃣ Once every part is lubed to your liking, it is time to assemble and do not forget to test them and see if they work correctly or if they are both facing the same way and not upside down 😂 6️⃣ Now is time to install them and enjoy your keyboard 🤗 . Let me know in the comments if you have questions or recommendations ! 🫶🏼 also which tutorial should I film next ? . #keyboard #mechanicalkeyboard #keyboardasmr #customkeyboard #modding #keebs #keyboardmod #keyboardmodding
