@nick_kratka: Growing up I was a very active child. I’d climb trees, play soccer, wrestle, every active thing you can think of. I’ve also been a severe asthmatic my entire life, so when I’d feel a lack of oxygen, I’d attribute it to that. One day, I was communicating my breathing problems to a dentist when they pointed out how severely deviated my nasal septum is and recommended I start using something called breathe right strips when I sleep. This is where my obsession started. The first night I slept with a breathe right strip was so good that I refused to take it off even during the day. I was ready to wear it for the rest of my life if I had to because I was so shocked by the extra flow of oxygen. I went to go replace the strip one day and it peeled the top layer of my nose off EXTREMELY PAINFULLY. This is when I decided I needed a more permanent solution. There are so many more details to this and I can’t wait to share my journey with you!! I will be documenting my entire process from pre operation to post recovery to give you a full understanding of my experience. What questions do you have for me?
