I purchased a car a decade ago and the dealer didn’t even care to help me get a title. I waited 6 months, before I finally got a title.

file for lost or duplicate title if no finanical comp has a lein on it other then there you should be good for a duplicate title

A dealer shouldn't have sold you a vehicle without the title in hand. You shouldnt have sold it in turn until you had the title... call an attorney...

The correct answer here is lawyers. The intrusive thoughts say let’s blast them. I had a dealer do this to me in 2007.

Can’t you just go to the dmv and get a new title? Say you lost it. I would think with purchase recipt it should be ok?
