@gatorchris1: Comparing Theodore to Jumanji, incredible to think they’re the same species and could even be similar ages! This really shows the difference proper care and diet can do for captive animals. Many, if not most, captive raised tortoises I see show varying degrees of metabolic bone disease and other growth issues caused by improper diet, lighting, humidity, etc. Always do your homework before getting any pet. Theodore was found walking around in west palm, either an escaped or dumped pet. We took him to the vet and his shell malformation might become slightly better over time but will never have the same look or size as jumanji. They live separately.
