@tiffanymarie_freediver: Replying to @Alixn_👻 the ideal freediving location is a nice open space, where there is nothing you can hit your head on. Freediving in an overhead environment, especially caves, is extremely dangerous. If your friend was a professional cliff diver and they jumped off a cliff, would you (who has little to no training) dive off that cliff? No, you wouldnt! So just because you see people doing dangerous things on the internet does not make it safe or smart. There are risks that come with freediving, and those risks are amplified when freediving any type of overhead environment. Thats not to say i am wrecklessly diving into these solution tubes, i always have multiple safety divers ready to get me to the surface if anything should happen. I am also a 100 foot diver who has been training in this sport for over a year. Does that make me invincible? Absolutely not. I hope that this helps mitigate some of the confusion or discomfort.
