@allodia.io: You can’t be both the trustee and a beneficiary in a non statutory trust. If you are, your trust can be challenged and treated as incorporated entity. The power of a trust comes from being an entity into itself. #trusts #irrevocabletrust #business #moneytips #america #freedom
You need a durable power of attorney over your principal aka strawman. I would do a dpoa over every entity. isn't that the only way 🤔

What about when you’re power of attorney over the grantor, trustee, and beneficiary..you tell the other beneficiary when they learn of the trust that they aren’t named in the trust and that the trust is decades old and then a few yesrs later you invite the other beneficiary over and hand them a piece of “certified mail” that was sent to your address instead of theirs and in no way was delivered to them certified and ask them to sign stating that it was received via certified mail, and the mail contains a letter from your attorney informing the other beneficiary that the trust has been dispersed to support your life and is empty and is now terminated..oh and the letter states that it has a copy of the trust attached yet there is no copy of the trust…cause that’s what just happened to me.

So you could be the grantor and a trustee though ? Just not the successor or the beneficiary ?

The goal at the end though is to merge titles perfect and convey , but before that yes, don’t be both.

It’s your trust. You can structure it any way you want.
