@cassimanner: My heart is aching for our oceans 🤍 I’ve lived in Hawaii for 7 years and I’ve never seen so much plastic in the water. To me, it seems like completely eliminating plastic production from our world is unfortunately unrealistic at the moment. (I could be totally wrong about that, I’m just speaking my mind. I’m open to all discussions & possibilities around this issue.) Currently, my most important questions are… What can we do with the plastic in the ocean? How can we recycle better? How can we put that recycled plastic to better use so it doesn’t end up back in the ocean? What are your ideas? I’m constantly trying to think of ways I can make a bigger difference, an initiative I could start, an invention or idea that could put the recycled plastic to better use. Please comment your thoughts, questions, feelings, educational resources, and any brands you think are doing a great job in the comments so I can dive into more research. I want to start the conversation and learn more but I’m not sure where to begin, so I guess I’ll just start here. Thank you 🫶🌎💚💙
