@eatwithalyssa: Red Velvet Tres Leches🌹 #Recipe #cake #tresleches #redvelvet #redvelvetcake In a mixing bowl add: -1 cup of whole milk -1 stick of melted butter (1/2 cup, cooled to room temperature) -4 eggs Whisk together then slowly add in a 15 ounce box of red velvet cake mix. Mix it all together until it’s nice and smooth. Then grease a 9 x 13 baking dish with butter and add in all of the batter. Bake this at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick runs completely clean. Then for the cream, in a bowl add: -One 12 ounce can of evaporated milk -21 ounces of sweetened condensed milk -1.5 cups of whole milk -1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream Whisk this together until well combined. Once your cake is completely cooled, poke holes all over it using a fork. Then add in your cream mixture (the cake will completely absorb all of it) Cover it up and let it sit in the fridge for 5 to 8 hours. For the Cream Cheese Whipped Cream, in a mixing bowl, whisk together 8 ounces ounces of cold cream cheese until smooth. Then slowly mix in: -1 tablespoon of Vanilla Extract -1 cup of powdered sugar -and 2 cups of heavy whipping cream Mix this all together until firm peaks form and then top it on to your cake. You can just spread it on top if you want. I piped it on because I was making it for a birthday party. When serving, always serve the cake straight from the fridge. Tres leches always needs be served nice and chilled ❄️ Enjoy💜
