@Fran✨: Hi, I just went to the ditch today Sunday total lost, I didn’t have insurance because I didn’t have much money since I literally just put a motor on it Friday 19k and I was thinking about calling the insurance Monday. It was pretty icy outside I was going 40mph and I felt into ditch dirt get hurt thank God most importantly. But the tow company came right away since the police it was a hazzard since lights and honk were on so they took it. Now I have to wait for the tow company to open at 8am and figure things out. I have a mortgage on the truck my the truck insurance was cancel last month due to not having money to renew it. Idk what to do. It 12:11 am and I don’t know what to doooo please helpp

Is it standard for insurance to take a surrendered, totaled vehicle before issuing payment? Also, what is standard time length to receive payment after reaching settlement?

My insurance is pure bullshit. I sent recipe immediately to get reimbursed and now they want proof from atm that I withdrew money to pay like wtf
