I had similar stats (2.9 which the LSAC calculated as a 2.7 😩 and a 159 LSAT).This cycle I got waitlisted at Seton Hall and Temple Uni. I just got into Albany Law for Fall 2024. So it’s possible!

I think it’s really hard for first gens - find a lawyer to mentor you - sell yourself hard.

Get your paralegal , retake courses and shadow lawyers and also law interns . Law school is challenging but you got this also learning how you study in law school ! Check school policies too on grades

I 156 isn’t bad!! GPA doesn’t matter that much when applying to law school, they look at the LSAT more. Good luck!!🩷🩷🩷
