Do you ever struggle with knowing HOW to pray?! 🙏 Truth is, prayer is just a conversation between YOU and your HEAVENLY FATHER — who ADORES you and simply desires time with you! It can be casual, choppy and all over the place — and He is still overjoyed to hear your voice! That being said, Jesus laid out HIS model of prayer for us to learn from in Luke 11:2-4 & Matthew 6:9-13 & I wanted to help break it down for you today! Here is an example of what it might look like: Abba, Father! I thank you that Your name is my strong tower, a refuge of safety and protection. I praise you as my healer, shepherd, and banner of victory! You are my peace, provider, righteousness, and sanctifier. God, break my heart for what breaks Yours. Bring those who don’t know You into my life so I can be a witness to them. I surrender my life to You today. Guide me in your ways and show me my next steps with wisdom and clarity. Father, I trust You for everything I need today. I surrender all to Your capable hands. Bring me peace and fill me with hope. Thank You in advance for Your provision. God, I am grateful for your gift of forgiveness. Reveal areas in my life that need your healing and forgiveness. I confess my struggles with sin and ask for your cleansing. Thank you for your unfailing grace. Help me let go of offenses, forgiving others as you have forgiven me. I trust you to handle every situation according to your perfect will. God, reveal the enemy’s lies and help me resist his schemes. May my thoughts align with your truth. In the name of Jesus, I declare victory over the enemy’s attacks, knowing that you have come to give me abundant life. I find strength in knowing that the one within me is greater than the one in the world, freeing me from fear. Father God, with your great power, nothing is impossible. I worship and praise You for Your absolute authority and victory in my life.
