@tannertheplanter: Many houseplants will kick up a fuss when repotting, or transferring from one medium to the next; water to soil, in this example. Some are more fussy about this transfer than others. Ficus, peace lily, and monstera Deliciosa are some of the more notorious culprits. This doesn’t mean they’re finicky plants, it’s just a part of owning them. Remember, these plants were never meant to be repotted, or, for that matter, be in a pot at all. It’s unnatural!
