If you know me well then you know I roll at least two fidgets deep wherever I go. 😅 I usually keep two in my purse, one in my car and my shadow carries a slime bag with her when we leave the house. Current levels of anxiety determine how heavy that bag ends up being. We don’t carry slimes in and out unless we are in a setting appropriate for it. Although, I will tell you, if it became a necessary tool for anxiety relief I wouldn’t hesitate to bring a jar of slime wherever. If you are familiar with anxiety disorders you understand. 💕 My preference for in and out travel, however, would be a squishy, dough ball or sugar ball. I’ve bought many of the cheaper varieties of sugar/maltose/glucose balls and, without fail, they all burst. What I love about the Nee-Doh brand “Nice Cubes” and their new “Gumdrops” is how sturdy they are at the same price point of the cheapies. Knock on wood, I’ve not had a Nee-Doh brand glucose filled fidget leak yet. I’ve purchased most of my Nice Cubes and Gumdrops from my friends at @thestorebeforetime 💕 My orders always arrive quickly and well packaged. I’ve also seen them at Learning Express toy store if you are lucky enough to have one nearby. So about the new Gumdrops….you’ll notice that they come with a powder coating. I assume this is to keep dirt, dust, lint and hair from sticking to them during manufacturing and packaging. I don’t remember if his being on the Nice Cubes. It rinses off easily enough. Here I am showing you one fresh out of the box at room temperature and one that has been rinsed, played with and FROZEN. Yes, FROZEN. The density of the squish varies with the temperature and warp of your hands. I like places one in the freezer until it is almost, but not quite solid. Then I can play with it and enjoy a variety of squishes and resistance as it thaws out. I accidentally left this one in a little too long but hopefully you can still see some movement.
