@nickhamman5: If you want an authentic Chinese culinary adventure in Johannesburg, then look no further than delicious Casserole in Cyrildene The owners, its patrons, and the wall menu all contribute to an atmosphere that's decidedly foreign. Western menus are also available if you need help understanding which part of the cow or pig you might be ordering. As you approach the main entrance, your senses are immediately greeted by aromas emanating from a large smoking urn, where various soups simmer in casserole pots over an open fire. On my visit, I opted for the duck soup, which arrived as succulent offcuts of meat, mushrooms, and broth for a fare R60. If you’re keen to feel as though you've traversed continents, all while remaining firmly in the heart of Gauteng, then do yourself a favour and come and try something new in Joburg’s own Chinatown #chinesefood #hiddengems #travel
