@mya.nichol: Okay hear me out on this one… I was chatting with someone the other day who mentioned that seeing business owners post their own wins is a turnoff & they’d rather see client wins & while everyone is entitled to their own opinions, I see it different. Let me explain why… Yes, I do agree that sharing clients wins is important because it shows that your offers actually work which is HECKA important. But I think sharing your own wins are equally as important (if doing so is applicable in your biz of course) Why? Because I want to know that you walk the walk and don’t just talk the talk Would you trust a swim coach to train you if they didn’t know how to swim? Would you want to invest in a company whose team has zero experience in running a business? Would you want someone to deliver your baby who has zero experience in delivering babies? Would you join a program that will teach you how to make 6 figures if the person teaching it hasn’t even made 6 figures? You need to know that who you are investing in is credible & one way that this is done is through business owners sharing their own wins and successes But how do you do it tastefully? As a society we have been conditioned to believe what we see and doubt what we hear which means that you need to showcase your credibility through embodiment vs just stating the win. Show, don’t just tell — be a living breathing example of what you teach by showcasing it through your daily actions >What are your thoughts on this topic??
