@hopeverra_dogtraining: Positioning yourself in between your dog and the threat or trigger helps make your dog feel safe and puts you in the pack leader role. You can then use your body to push your dog away from the other dog and keep moving forward. Using momentum helps your dog to cope with the excitement by staying focused on you and where your going. The goal is to keep strolling past the other dog and by setting your dog up on the other side of you, it sets your dog up for success to be able to continue your walk without the reactivity. Use treats and your body to guide your dog where you want them to be and make it a CIS positive experience. Make sure to give your dog the space they need to feel safe by crossing to the other side of the street if needed. #dogsoftiktok #dogtrainingtips #dogconditioning #dogtrainersoftiktok #dogs #balanceddogtraining #balanceddogtrainers #balanceddogs #balanceddogtrainer #reactivedogawareness #reactivedogtraining #reactivedogsaregooddogs #reactivedogsoftiktok #reactivedog #reactivedogtrainingtips #dogreactivity #dogreactivedogs #dogreactivedog #dogreactivitytraining #dogreactivityproblems
