DIY Pet Houses: Preparing for the Rain with Luna, Pearl, and Jelly Since yesterday afternoon, it has been raining continuously through the night. Concerned about the pets, I checked the courtyard last night and noticed that Luna was coughing a bit. To keep her safe, I brought her inside the house. This morning, I found the kitten I rescued from the dump a couple of days ago, now named Pearl by our lovely followers, lounging on the sofa. Everyone has been worried about Pearl's health, so I took her to the vet first thing today. She has a cold and ringworm, which caused some fur loss, but the doctor assured me it's nothing serious. With some medication and proper care, she'll gradually get better. The weather forecast predicts more rain ahead. Yesterday, Jelly didn't even have a place to shelter from the rain, so I had to put him on the balcony. The priority now is to set up cat and dog houses for them before it rains and the temperature drops next week. Fortunately, the insulation boards I ordered have arrived. I also bought some wooden strips and tools to build the shelters. Attaching wooden strips to the bottom will make them waterproof and moisture-proof. As I worked on assembling the shelters, gluing the boards together, I realized I might not be as clumsy as I thought! The pets gathered around, seemingly supervising my work. I managed to build a spacious and cozy shelter, complete with a cushion to keep them warm. As I glued the boards together, I could see Luna, Pearl, and Jelly watching curiously. It felt like they were eager to move into their new homes! I designed the shelters to be spacious so they can move around comfortably. There's even a door with a curtain to keep out the cold wind. Who would have thought building pet houses could be so rewarding? Even though I ran out of glue before finishing, the enthusiasm from my furry friends keeps me motivated. I'll grab more supplies soon and complete the final touches. Seeing their excited faces makes all the effort worthwhile. The doghouse is almost complete, and I can't wait to see them enjoying their new space. A big thank you to everyone who quietly watches, likes, comments, shares, and follows. Your support means the world to me, and people like you are truly wonderful. Stay tuned for the final reveal of the pet houses! #DIY #PetShelter #PetCare #Cat #Dog #VetVisit #PetHealth #CutePets #AnimalLovers #RescuePets #straycat #straycats
