Here are 3 things I wish I knew before becoming a follower of Jesus God’s love isn’t based off my performance God loves us the same today yesterday and tomorrow I can’t pray , read , or fast and think that will make God love me anymore than before I do these things to show my dependecy, mature, and learn more about the God I serve Romans 5:6 Hebrews 13:8 The spiritual high may fade and that’s okay I know many people when they first become christians they are on fire for God and a spiritual high as I call it and I think that’s okay however, just because you lose that doesn’t mean you did anything wrong this is a life long journey and having a revelation of this will help us understand its just a new season we’re going entering as God matures us in our walk … Some days you may feel more motivated and some days unenthusiastic . Be consistent, just like when you’re working on your physical health and hitting the gym Ecclesiastes 3:1 Community is everything God doesn’t call us to be alone in this walk and “you can’t be your best self by yourself” God has created us for fellowship finding like minded people who are all after God’s heart will help your walk or you helping someone else’s Hebrews 10:25 - @_propheticwords
