@ashallaboutmoney: Replying to @Chris if you’re new to credit cards hopefully this is helpful! You can use as much of the limit as you want! BUT you need to be able to pay the balance back so DO NOT use more than you can afford to pay back! Keep balances low on the statement date, that way the card reports a low balance to the credit bureau! This will help increase your credit score! #credit #score #tips #howto #credircard #card
i saw someone say the easiest way to stay out of credit card debt is “if i don’t have it on my debit card i don’t have it on my credit card”

I have a limit of $1500 but I have no idea how to even use my credit card or make purchases and payments so I just use my debit card.

Your not supposed to really use the credit card, u gotta show the bank you don’t really need it, that’s how I got my credit score up

So pretty much, don’t use the card unless you have the money to replace what you spent.

Should you pay the card to $0 at the due date or just keep it below 29%?

i heard it’s not good for them to report a 0 dollar statement and it’s better to keep it at 10% any truth to this

Is it ok if I pay gas with my credit card and right after I pay off so the balance is inmediately 0? Or is it better to wait until an exact date?

Yes, but this is backwards. You pay off all but 1-3% before statement date(closing) and then pay remaining balance by the due date.

So you can spend all as long as you pay back 81% on the due date or before statement date? So the number reported is 29% or less? Right?

My question is , so the limit amount on your card , it’s already a set up thing with the bank correct? How do you pay for the credit card or balance ?

Great video! But I still do not understand if I should pay in full before the due/ statement day or keep 5% to show that I have transactions; which is better? And more credit score
