Garlicky Goodness 🦞 I love trying new variations every time I make this dish, and lately I’ve been obsessed with adding curry powder and chiles to the roasted lobster! Try out your own flavors, but regardless of what you add, this dish is the perfect easy-yet-impressive dish that is sure to satisfy. @groovyfoodiess Ingredients (serves 2) -1 lobster, cleaned and split in half Lobster Butter Topping -4 Tbsp unsalted butter, cubed -½ tsp grated ginger -¼ cup minced garlic (the more the merrier!) -⅓ cup thinly sliced green onions -2 tbsp minced lemongrass (optional) -1 Tbsp sugar -1 Tbsp soy sauce Garlic Noodles -2 Tbsp neutral oil -7 garlic cloves, minced -2 small shallots, chopped -5 green onions, chopped into 2-inch pieces -14 oz fresh egg noodles (if you use dried, make sure to blanch before stir-frying!) -2½ Tbsp soy sauce -1 tsp fish sauce -1 tsp mirin -2 Tbsp oyster sauce -1 tsp dark soy sauce (or regular soy sauce) -2 tsp sugar -1 tsp mushroom bouillon Preparation 1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper. 2. Set the lobster cut-side up in the prepared baking dish and distribute the butter on top. 3. In a medium bowl, mix together the ginger, garlic, green onions, lemongrass (if using), sugar, and soy sauce, then spoon on top of the lobster. 4. Bake the lobster for 10 minutes, until bright red, then turn on the broiler and broil the lobster for 2–4 minutes, until the shell is a deeper red color. 5. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large wok or pan over medium heat. Add the garlic, shallots, green onions, and egg noodles and stir-fry until aromatic. 6. Add the soy sauce, fish sauce, mirin, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, and mushroom bouillon and cook until the aromatics just start to brown, 5–7 minutes. 7. Serve the noodles with the lobster. 8. Enjoy!
