I support all mamas choices to stop breastfeeding whenever it feels right for them 🤍 Is it worth all the comments about your toddler being told old? Yes. Why? Because not only is it incredible bonding time with your toddler BUT it’s amazing health benefits (along side a nutritious diet) cannot be denied. Breast milk is constantly changing to suit your toddlers needs at whatever stage of life they’re in. Is your toddler sick? Cue antibodies. Also cue higher fat content + more calories the older your toddler gets. 👏🏽 I will keep sharing how beautiful and beneficial breastfeeding a toddler is no matter the filthy comments I get for encouraging mamas to try to breastfeed past the 12 month mark.
