Photo-Shoot Prep - What I Eat A Day 🍳 I wanted to give you girls a little BTS look at what I eat when I’m prepping for a photoshoot and want to feel my BEST ✨ For starters, I’m currently on a lean bulk - so I did not do any kind of fat-loss phase/lean down before this shoot. In fact I am almost 5kg up in weight. Which is crazy 😝 But, what I am sharing here is what I eat *the day before* a shoot to eliminate bloating and feel energised! Here are some tips that I followed to prepare - which you can use if you have a big event that you want to feel fab for! 1. Managing salt intake - I usually eat a fair amount of salt & spices on my food - but for a day or two before a shoot, I cut this down and I am mindful of how much sodium I am having. Excess sodium can have you hold onto a little more water - making you feel puffy or bloated. 1. Eating less fibre - I usually eat a TON of fibre 35-40g per day is my goal. But some types of fibre can have you feeling a little bloated. So I tend to cut this down to 20-25g pre-shoot just to ensure the tummy is feeling light and lean. 2. No sparkling or carbonated drinks - I drink lots of pure H20 - and never do silly water cut situations. I do however swop out any sparkling drinks for the good stuff the day before and the day of the shoot. 3. No protein bars - I also don’t do protein bars as they can on occasion cause some bloating too. 4. Smaller evening meal - My evening meal is usually my biggest of the day - but pre-shoot I keep it a little lighter -> with slightly less carbs -> so I wake up having my food fully digested. I also went for prawns instead of something like steak that takes longer to digest. 5. Sleep -> When I don’t sleep for a full 8 hours -> everything is not at its best!
