this is not correct. a tomato plant will suck that bucket dry in a few days once it gets bigger. i have to top my buckets every 3 days.

if your going to do this, use compost teas. tomatoes grown hydroponically with synthetic fertilizer lack flavor.

Nutrient are expensive, you need bucket. basket, pebbles,light, tomato plants and all the labor. it can cost $100 initially , to grow a few tomatoe
