@bleu.storm.theblacklabs: 𝙏𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙈𝙧 𝘽𝙡𝙚𝙪𝙨 𝙣𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙨𝙤 𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙮💅🏼 Since he’s got older I have ALWAYS struggled to trim Bleu’s front paw nails, either he doesn’t want me touching his feet or I’m too scared that I’m going to cut them too short and hurt him (Yes we had a little accident once and now I’m petrified it will happen again). When he was a puppy he never had a problem with letting me touch his feet and paws but as he’s gotten older it’s just something we’ve learnt that he no longer likes and gets very anxious about. However, I’m now able to get his nails much shorter without causing him any anxiety or putting him under pressure! We were recommended this nail scratch board and GAME CHANGER! For Bleu this is making filing his nails fun- he gets a yummy treat once he’s scratched the board (it took him approx 5 seconds to work out scratch = treat lol) Bleu is walked 1-2 hours a day whoch is why i think his back paws have never been an issue they are always a perfect length (he must be a rear wheel drive kinda walker🤣) #labrador #blacklab #BlackLabrador #Dog #UKDog
