@eco.amical: Replying to @planejane83 I thought my scoby was dead but it’s not. It’s still alive and well. I just had to let it ferment longer. The way you know it’s ready is by trying it and when it tastes like kombucha it’s ready. I haven’t made kombucha in a while and I'm not sure if it will work. I’m placing sweet fruit at the bottom to create carbonation for the 2nd ferment. It’s been 3 days, it’s not fizzy. I think because I let it ferment a bit too long and it’s pretty sour.
